Volunteering is a great way to support both yourself and the camp. It not only saves you money on your ticket but also offers you a grounding structure throughout the camp. You quickly feel part of the camp and is an easy way to make new friends, especially if you’re coming by yourself.

 Workshop Space Cleaning Volunteers

A clean and clear workshop space to roll around in makes all the difference. By giving each space a little love and attention you will create a blank canvas for everyone to create upon.

Working in teams of 6 spread across the workshop spaces accordingly, this role includes:

  • Clean & clear space of rubbish and forgotten items

  • Leave forgotten items in a visible place for people to find

  • Tidy up cushions, décor, lighting and tables

  • Brush/sweep off the carpets

  • Take any crockery back to the community kitchen sink (e.g. cups)

Working 1 x 30min shift per day, 5 x 30min shifts in total. We are offering a £40 discount for the 5 shifts, bringing your ticket down to £280.

Shifts are scheduled during the breakfast period (with time to eat for yourself).

The main requirement for this role is having a commitment to maintaining cleanliness and organisation in the workshop spaces. You also need to be able to arrive by 3pm on Wednesday 26th June and stay at least until Sunday 30th June.

 Bathroom Cleaning Volunteers

One thing that everyone prefers is a clean bathroom. The whole camp will love you for doing this and you will make everyone’s experience so much more pleasant.

Working in teams of 2 people, the shared role includes:

  • Cleaning the showers

  • Cleaning the compost loos

  • Clean hand washing / teeth bruhsing basins

  • Refill the toilet rolls, sawdust and soaps

Working 1x 1hr shift per day, over the 5 days. 5x 1hr shifts in total. We are offering a £75 discount for the 5 shifts, bringing your ticket down to £245.

There will be 6 people in the whole team and 3 shifts happening per day to maintain a good level of cleanliness throughout the 5 days of the camp.

All the shifts are timetabled for during the breaks, so you won’t have to miss any workshops.

The main requirement of this role is that you are reliable and thorough in your work. You also need to be able to arrive 2pm on Wednesday 26th June and stay at least until the evening of Sunday 30th June.

Kitchen Volunteers

As you can imagine making sure everyone is well-fed is one of the most important parts of the camp. No one wants to dance with a hungry grumpy CI dancer. There is a wonderful sense of satisfaction, that comes from preparing and serving the food, so everyone can eat together. You will receive many blessings and compliments for supporting the camp in this way. You’ll also get to look super stylish in one of our aprons, like the handsome guys in the picture ;-)

Lunches & Dinners:

Working in teams of around 6 or 7 people, the role includes:

  • Washing, preparing and chopping vegetables

  • Assisting with the cooking

  • Cleaning anything used in the preparation of the meal

  • Serving

Each shift is 4 hours and we are offering the option of 2 kitchen shifts with a £80 discount for this role, bringing your ticket down to £240.

You will also be able to choose your preferred shifts in relation to the programme timetable once it has been released.

Breakfasts:

Working in teams of around 3 people, the role includes:

  • Preparing ingredients

  • Assisting with the cooking

  • Cleaning anything used in the preparation of the meal

  • Serving

Each shift is 2 hours and we are offering the option of 2 or 3 kitchen shifts with a £20 discount per shift for this role, bringing your ticket down to £260 for 3 shifts or £280 for 2 shifts.

The kitchen volunteers are led by our experienced, well-organised and easy-going chefs/kitchen coordinators.

The main requirement of this role is that you are reliable, happy being in a working kitchen and good at following the direction of the chef.

Sauna Keepers

There is nothing more soothing than a sauna after a day of dancing and we like it hot, hot, hot!! Join our sauna team to help soothe those achy muscles after a long day of dancing. You’ll bring warmth into the hearts of all the dancers.

The role includes:

  • Collecting and chopping wood

  • Keeping the sauna clean, tidy, functioning and topped up with wood

  • Lighting sauna fire as required in the early morning, afternoon & evening

Working up to 1 hour per day, over the 5 days. We are offering £75 discount for this role, bringing your ticket down to £245.

The main requirement of this role is that you are experienced and proficient in chopping wood, lighting wood burner fires, and familiar with wood fire saunas.

Body Work Space Volunteer

Each evening our geodome chill-out space becomes a luscious and cosy shared bodywork space, warmed by a wood fire stove and candlelights. We are looking for a couple of volunteers to help take care of this space during the evenings, by facilitating a welcoming, open and safe space, that everyone feels comfortable joining and enables participants to honour their own personal boundaries within the intimacy of the space.

Working 4 hours in total over two evenings over the 5 days (9pm - 11pm). We are offering a £60 discount, bringing your ticket down to £260.

The main requirement of this role is that you have experience with holding a safe space for people to explore bodywork within a more intimate setting and are familiar with aspects of boundaries and consent. You also need to be able to arrive by 3pm on Wednesday 26th June and stay at least Sunday 30th June.

Arrival Volunteers

Be the person to make things easy when someone arrives on site. Often a journey can be tiring or stressful and it is not uncommon for some people to feel a degree of anxiety when arriving in an unknown place. Your role is to help soften this experience so our participants can find what they need to land well and settle in.

Working in small teams, the role includes:

  • Welcoming New Arrivals

  • Collecting Registration Info

  • Site Navigation

Working 2 x 3.5hrs shifts, one on Wednesday & one on Thursday. We are offering a £75 discount for the 2 shifts, bringing your ticket down to £245.

You will also be able to choose your preferred shifts in relation to the programme timetable once it has been released.

The main requirement of this role is that you have good people, explanation and navigation skills. You also need to be able to arrive at 5pm on Tuesday 25th June (the day before the camp starts).

 Community Kitchen Space Cleaning Volunteers

Be the unsung hero of our community kitchen space, where your commitment to cleanliness transforms an ordinary space from messy moments into a place where shared meals become treasured memories ;-)

Working in small teams, the role includes:

  • Clean all surfaces

  • Reorganise and clean tea and coffee station

  • Clean/clearing washing up areas (not doing the washing up)

  • Sweep the carpet

  • Clean all tables

Working 1 x 30min shift per day, 5 x 30min shifts in total. We are offering a £40 discount for the 5 shifts, bringing your ticket down to £280.

Shifts are scheduled during breaks after each meal (Breakfast, Lunch & Dinner)

The main requirement of this role is having a strong commitment to cleanliness and hygiene in the community kitchen space. You also need to be able to arrive by 5pm on Wednesday 26th June and stay at least until after dinner on Sunday 30th June.

Site Crew

Come and be part of the full camp creation process. Arrive in an empty field and be part of building the physical container that holds the camp. Help it grow and watch it evolve as it comes to life with people moving, dancing and connecting within the spaces. Then returning the land back to its original state gives you an immense feeling of completion.

  • The role involves setting up, helping maintain and packing down come rain or shine:

    • marquees

    • geodome

    • kitchen

    • site infrastructure

    • decor

  • Led by experienced site coordinators & engineers.

  • We are also looking for some of the members of the site crew to help prepare food for the crew as we go.

  • You'll need to be on-site for all the set-up and pack-down dates:

    • Set-Up: 12pm Saturday 22nd June to 12pm Wednesday 26th June

    • Pack-Down: 10am Monday 1st July to 5pm Wednesday 3rd July (we may finish earlier)

In exchange for the full time, we will be offering a full free ticket, all meals plus up to £100 towards travel expenses.

The main requirement of this role is that you are reliable, strong in character, physically strong and able to follow practical instructions.

Cleaning Coordinators

We are looking for two competent, strong in character, flexible & easy-going Cleaning Coordinators to oversee their own cleaning teams during the running of the camp, one role is for Bathroom Cleaning and one is for Space Cleaning.

It is preferable that you have been to the camp to apply for this role, as some knowledge of how the camp runs is helpful. 

Dates: Be on-site by 2pm, Tuesday 25th June, ready for starting on Wednesday.

Bathroom Cleaning Coordinator

  • Oversee a smooth and efficient cleaning of the showers and loos three times a day.

  • Checking the crew are aware of their shifts and have all they need. 

  • Show the crew where to find, clean and store cleaning equipment.

  • Keep an eye on cleaning equipment stock and top-ups.

  • Take on one shift of cleaning (30-60 mins) per day.

  • Manage any shift swaps (with help from Sofia if needed). 

 

Workshop Spaces and Community Kitchen Cleaning Coordinator:

  • Oversee a smooth and efficient running of cleaning the workshop spaces (5 in total) once a day during breakfast.

  • Oversee the community kitchen cleaning three times a day (after each meal)

  • Checking the crew are aware of their shifts and have all they need. 

  • Show the crew where to find and store cleaning equipment.

  • Take on one shift of cleaning (30 mins) per day.

  • Manage any shift swaps (with help from Sofia if needed). 

Both coordinators need to be available for at least 1 or 2 meetings before the camp.

You'll work alongside Richard & Sofia (event organisers) to help with the smooth running of the role.

We are offering £150 off for either of these roles, bringing the ticket down to £170.

Programme & Facilitators Coordinator

We're looking for two friendly, easy-going and organised Programme & Facilitator Coordinators to help ensure a smooth running of the camps workshop programme.

It is preferable that you have been to the camp to apply for this role, as you will have some knowledge of how the camp runs.

Dates: Be on-site from 5pm, Tuesday 25th June,  ready for starting on Wednesday.

The role includes:

  • Going through the programme in the morning circles (Thursday to Sunday).

  • Checking in with each teacher / facilitator, ensuring they have everything they need before their workshop.

  • Timekeepers for the start of workshops (bang the drum a few times to let everyone know)

Both coordinators need to be available for at least 1 or 2 meetings before the camp.

You'll work alongside Richard & Sofia (event organisers) to help with the smooth running of the role.

Working up to 4-5 hours in total over the 5 days, as needed.

We are offering £150 off for this role bringing the ticket down to £170.

Support & Care Volunteers

Our wish is that we can create a space that is safe, kind and respectful for all, where everyone can fully engage in the somatic wonders of this practice and in which growth and development can easily occur.   We do a really good job of this, however, despite our best efforts, life and the dance show us that even here, at this camp which is so full of love and care, someone still could potentially get hurt physically or emotionally. Ensuring the well-being and safety of our participants throughout the camp is of great importance to us and you will play a vital role in creating our container of support and care for all participants.

If you're passionate about and experienced in providing support to others in both physical and emotional capacities, and feel you can make a meaningful difference in people's lives, we invite you to apply for this role.

You will collaborate closely with our Support & Care Coordinator, providing assistance and stepping in as needed to support the running of this space, the role will be split between two volunteers, being available as needed over a 4 hours period each day, from Thursday to Sunday, either morning or afternoon shifts.

We are also looking for a competent, strong-in-character, flexible & easy-going Arrivals Coordinator to manage our team of Arrival Volunteers.

It is preferable that you have been to the camp to apply for this role, as you will have some knowledge of how the camp runs.

Dates: Be on-site by 12pm, Tuesday 25th June, ready for starting on Wednesday.

The role:

  • Oversee a smooth and efficient running of arrival days by supporting the arrival crew.

  • Helping set up arrivals stations.

  • Step into the role of arrivals crew as needed.

You'll work alongside Richard & Sofia (event organisers) to help with the smooth running of the role.

We are offering a £150 discount for this role, bringing your ticket down to £170.
